Embrace Rhythm for Effective putting

Use an 8 second rhythm to develop putting

One of the weak points for golfers while putting is a lack of a routine or rhythm. Without a rhythm or cadence to focus on, extraneous thoughts begin to creep in and cloud your confidence in the putt. Note, while I have chosen 8 seconds as the length, only the last two, or seven and eight, are the putt in motion (7 when the putting stroke begins and 8 being impact). 1 through 6 are used to put your mind in an appropriate head space and finally those last two seconds, nailing your putt.

Spend as long as necessary to gain confidence in this method
